FIAT 503 1927
This vehicle is a Fiat 503 built in 1927. The chassis and the engine originated from the production of the Fiat company, which was founded in Turin in 1899. These racing car bodies were manufactured by various body companies in the 1920s in order to give customers a certain amount of racing fun. They started with the chassis and engine, later the body shape was designed with the goal to be as aerodynamic as possible.
Since there were no original parts of the racing body on this vehicle, I used photographs from the past as a guide.
The finished vehicle, ready for the racetrack.
